If you use a 32bit browser, preferably Netscape 4.0 or MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, you will see in the left frame of your window the Navis Navigator tree. You may have difficulties with seeing this, if your internet access is through a proxy server. In that case, go to the preferences of your browser and change it to direct access (please contact your network administrator in case of doubt).
Clicking on one of the Navis Navigator crosses will open that particular tree and offer you several further options. The cross will then be modified to a minus. You can close the particular branch of the Navis Navigator tree by clicking on the minus sign.
Normally, the Navis Navigator will remain in the left frame of your window. All searching will run in the right frame. In case you get lost (particulary when using erroneously the "Refresh" option within MS Internet Explorer), you may need to click again on the chosen option in the Navis Navigator to return to your start position.
